The Critical Diversity Measures Institute is a research and education think tank that delivers breakthrough thought leadership, insights, and solutions for now and the future.  Our aspiration is simple: to help organizations boards and CEO’s, C-suite executives and direct reports and enterprise managers navigate a variety of workplace leadership inequality silent crises to, ignite progress for workplace leadership equality across gender, race, and ethnicity through innovation, improve performance, and better serve society.

MEET OUR VISIONARY

Our Founder and President Charles H. Polk established the Critical Diversity Measures Institute as a research and education think tank specializing in solutions aimed at helping organizations ignite progress for workplace leadership equality across gender, race, and ethnicity.

He believes it’s time to accelerate beyond the unconscious bias mindset era and enter a new era of conscious proactive thinking and acting on ways to ignite progress for workplace leadership equality across gender, race, and ethnicity.

This new era promotes conscious thinking and acting on data-driven insight streamlined into evidence-based decisions and policy making with benefits that cascade down through the organization by not only involving the board and CEO, but also C-suite executives and direct reports, as well as enterprise executives and managers aimed at igniting progress for workplace leadership equality across gender, race, and ethnicity.

According to our research women have made no real progress in Executive/Senior-Level Officials & Managers representation in the national private industry for more than a decade.  Women’s increase in participation at those levels was a dismal 1.83 percent between 2007-2017.

Between 2007 and 2017, the data shows no progress for Black, Hispanic, and Asian Americans in terms of Executive/Senior-Level Officials & Managers positions held in national private industry.  Minorities held 12.58 percent of those positions in 2007 compared to14.82 percent in 2017—an increase of 2.24 percent during eleven consecutive years.
